Today, the Eastern Cape showcased its trade and investment opportunities at the greatest showcase stage, the South African Pavilion, at Expo 2020 Dubai. The showcase was facilitated by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition in partnership with the Eastern Cape Development Corporation, the provincial investment promotion agency.
Joining the showcase was the MEC for Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism with the two Eastern Cape Special Economic Zones; Coega Development Corporation and East London Development Zone, the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency, Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency as well as the two metro municipalities of the province; Buffalo City Metro and Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.
